So what's with the name you ask? So we asked Larry & Paula...
The name "Tee La-P" salsa was created while driving down the country roads of South Louisiana. We wanted a name that was catchy and also represented who we are. Tee is a salutation used frequently with the Cajun people of Louisiana. La-P stands for Larry and Paula. Recently, we heard customers refer to us as "Tee La-P Baby!" You know we will use that one!!
Tee La-P salsa was created at home by Larry. Both he and Paula love to cook and experiment with different seasonings. Over several years, Larry had perfected his salsa recipe to the point where friends were asking him to prepare salsa for their special events. This prompted the idea to start selling commercially.
