Early morning on September 6 2008, the coffee bar begins its brewing, the homemade pies and muffins stack the counter tops and the Salado groupies gather at the bistro tables to sample the breakfast fare McCain's has prepared for its opening. Friends, the gathering has grown, the word has spread and if you can find a parking spot at 7:30am on any day of the week....then count yourself fortunate.   

Breakfast & lunch at McCain's bakery and café is like gathering at the home kitchen table. Chic yet comfy, everyone knows the occupants at the next table and, should you be a tourist stopping in for a hardy breakfast or lunch to help withstand a day of walking & shopping, you'll be part of the family gathering before your meal is served! Closed all day Tuesday.

McCain's goal is to have a fresh assortment of pastries available every day during the week.
Weekends feature Lynette's fresh homemade pies and cakes listed on the menu board inside the café.
Specialty cakes are available with advance notice.
